NBER’s Fellowship Program on the Economics of an Aging Workforce offers support for an outstanding early-career economist to visit our Cambridge office for one year of intensive research on economic aspects of the labor market activity of older workers.

Fellows receive a yearly stipend of $65,000 as well as office space, use of the Bureau’s computer facilities, and funds for research expenses.

Eligibility:
Applications are being accepted for 2016-2017.* Applicants must have completed a PhD
or have a tenure track faculty appointment at a North American college or university. The selected candidate will work at NBER’s Cambridge office during the fellowship period.

NBER encourages applications from candidates from under-represented racial and ethnic groups; candidates with disabilities; and/or individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. NBER is not able to sponsor a visa for this fellowship.
