NBER’s Fellowship Program in Aging and Health Research offers support for outstanding economists to visit our Cambridge office for one or two years of intensive research in aging and health. Fellows are free of all teaching and other university responsibilities.

Fellows receive a yearly stipend of $65,000 -$90,000 (depending on years of experience) as well as office space, use of the Bureau’s computer facilities, and funds for research expenses.

Eligibility:
Applications are being accepted for 2016-2017 and/or 2017-2018.* Applicants must have completed a PhD before they begin the program, and must be US Citizens or lawfully admitted for permanent residence.
