The Department of Economics (http://business.lsu.edu/Economics/) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Associate/Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2016. New and prospective PhDs as well as senior Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant must have a strong research record or promise for development of a solid research agenda. Candidates are sought with expertise in applied microeconomics fields listed above. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. Interviews will be held at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco. Junior candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2016. LSU is an Equal opportunity/equal access employer.
