The Economics Department at Lancaster University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Macroeconomic or Microeconomic theory at the rank of Associate Professor. Candidates must have an outstanding record of publication, major ongoing research, potential for making important contributions to economics, and demonstrated effectiveness in training graduate students.

The Department of Economics is part of the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). LUMS is a world-ranked international business school which has topped the UK research rankings for nearly two decades. Economics department is one of the largest in the School with over forty faculty members. The Department provides an excellent research environment and has strong links across disciplines within the School and beyond.
