The Department of Economics at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of theoretical behavioral economics, though exceptional senior candidates will also be considered. The Department is in a growth phase and will be hiring several positions over the next few years.

A Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in economics or related discipline is required or must be firmly expected by the August 2016 appointment start date. Candidates should show promise of significant scholarship and teaching ability.
