Nanjing Audit University (NAU), founded in 1983, has more than sixteen thousand full time students. NAU is the only financial and economical institute of higher education that carries “AUDIT” in its name and is known as “Whampoa Military Academy" in the auditing field in China. It is ranked 45th in China according to the National College Entrance Exams scores. As a major academic initiative, the university is establishing two new institutes: the Research Institute of Political Science and Economics, and the Research Institute of Economics and Finance, led by Professor Shaoan Huang and Professor Li Gan respectively as their academic deans. Over the next several years, the two institutes will recruit a number of tenure-track and tenured positions in all fields of economics, finance, management science, accounting, law, and political science.

The initial appointment will be for three years with a starting annual salary of 400,000 RMB or higher, plus publication bonus of 10,000-100,000 RMB. In addition, research fund of 100,000-800,000 RMB and a free, two-bedroom, on-campus apartment will be provided. The first three-year contract is renewable for the second term upon successfully completion of the first.

NAU is located in Nanjing, one of the four ancient capitals, and consists of two campuses, Mochou and Pukou, on a 362 acres of beautiful landscapes. With its rolling hills and lakes, the Pukou campus in particular is often referred to as “the most beautiful new campus” in China.
