Fordham University's Department of Economics welcomes applications for a tenure-track appointment at its Rose Hill Campus starting Fall 2016. Preferred candidates will have research and teaching interests in sustainable development or development and resource economics with an emphasis on inclusive growth, population growth, exhaustible and renewable resources, alternative energy sources, technical change, sustainable cities or poverty reduction in regions most vulnerable to climate change.

Tenure at Fordham requires publication in high profile journals as well as excellent teaching in Fordham’s PhD, Masters and undergraduate programs. Our Department serves both Fordham’s Lincoln Center and Rosehill campuses and a diverse, international student body. Candidates with demonstrated research potential and who expect to complete their PhD by August 2016 are encouraged to apply.
