The Canisius College Department of Economics & Finance, housed in the AACSB accredited Richard J. Wehle School of Business, is seeking applicants for a tenure track opening at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels beginning August 2016. Applicants must possess or soon expect to receive a Ph.D. in Finance. Applicants with specializations in all areas of Finance will be considered. The position requires effective teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and MBA levels. A team of undergraduate and MBA Canisius students won the 2015 Global CFA Institute Research Challenge.

Applicants should exhibit potential for publication of scholarly research. The standard teaching load is 3 courses per semester. The compensation package is competitive for AACSB accredited institutions.

Canisius College is located in Buffalo, New York and serves approximately 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Economics & Finance department is comprised of 11 faculty members and serves more than 260 undergraduate majors as well as an MBA concentration in Finance.
