King County, recognized nationally for its innovative approaches to public service delivery, is recruiting for a dynamic Economic Development Policy Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join King County and play a leadership role in Executive Constantine’s goal to be “The best-run government in the United States” and support a shared and sustainable prosperity for the people of King County.

This position is responsible for developing King County government’s regional economic development strategy and executing on that through collaboration with King County leadership, various economic and workforce development agencies, business and industry organizations, King County’s 39 cities, and the State of Washington. The position is a key member of Executive Constantine’s policy team, reporting to the Chief of Policy who serves on the Executive’s leadership team.

The preferred candidate will have a proven track record of increasingly responsible experience delivering measurable accomplishments through leading collaborative approaches among government and private partners.
