The Department of Economics at the University of Ottawa is seeking to fill one tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2016, and subject to budgetary approval. The department is primarily interested in hiring a candidate with specialization in any of the following three fields: environmental economics, behavioral and experimental economics or development economics. Still, in very exceptional cases, very strong candidates working outside those fields may be given consideration. The successful candidate must have completed (or expect to complete in 2016) a PhD degree in economics and should be committed to research and teaching excellence.

The Department offers its programs in French and in English; candidates must be bilingual or willing to become bilingual.
