The successful candidate for the Reader in Economics and Policy will be joining a dynamic and expanding international and multi-disciplinary business school, determined to achieve and sustain international excellence in research and scholarship. He or she will be expected to add distinction through research and teaching in the field of Economics and Policy.

The appointee will take a strategic role in developing and growing their field in the School, including developing relationships in teaching and research with other parts of the University, as may be appropriate. He or she will make their mark by working in collaboration with their colleagues to develop and realise a long-term vision for their specific area of expertise.

Candidates will have a PhD in a relevant subject, a strong commitment to research and an established international presence and strong academic reputation in applied policy-related work with a firm basis in theory. The successful candidate will publish in leading journals and contribute to the intellectual leadership to a subject group at the School.

Experience of teaching at undergraduate and either postgraduate or post-experience levels is essential, as is interest and capability in executive education.
