Position:
The Department of Economics and Finance in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business invites applications for an open position as Lecturer / Professor of Practice (depending on academic background and qualifications) in the area of business economics or finance. This is a nine-month position with a typical teaching load of eight courses (24 credit hours) per year.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Minimum requirements for the Lecturer position include a master’s degree in economics or finance or closely related field (e.g., an MBA with a finance emphasis) and significant industry experience (at least 10 years). Minimum requirements for the Professor of Practice position include a Ph.D. in economics or finance or related field and significant industry experience (at least 10 years). The ideal candidate will be passionate about his or her career in economics or finance and the prospect of helping students prepare for a similar experience.
