The Department of Economics invites applications for one opening at the level of Assistant Professor in the area of international trade. We seek to solidify our overall strength in applied microeconomics by hiring an empiricist in the area of international trade, with strong theoretical as well as econometric training.

Candidates are expected to have an outstanding research record relative to rank, along with the capacity to advise Ph.D. students in their research. Successful candidates would also be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in international economics. We seek candidates who have interdisciplinary interests that complement the broader mission of the Maxwell School and the broader University interests in this area. Special attention will be given to fostering additional demographic diversity within the department. The search begins immediately and will remain open until the position is filled.
