The Global Economics and Management Area at the UCLA Anderson School of Management is seeking to hire new faculty members beginning with the 2016-2017 academic year. The search is open to all ranks in the professorial series. The ideal candidate is an applied economist, particularly in the fields of international economics or applied microeconomics. Applications from a broader set of fields within applied economics are also welcome. We expect that the successful candidate will teach in the MBA and Ph.D. programs. The ideal candidate profile includes: a Ph.D. in economics, or completion of Ph.D. in economics no later than June 30, 2016, proficiency in data analysis, interest in applied research, demonstrated ability to perform high quality research on applied economic issues, and ability and interest to teach in our core MBA program. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
