The Department of Economics at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, invites applications for a tenure track position to begin Fall 2016 at the assistant professor level in the field of empirical economics / econometrics, with particular emphasis on financial economics. The position involves significant scholarly research as well as teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in all areas of economics, with emphasis on financial economics and financial econometrics. A PhD in either Economics or Finance is required. In line with the preceding description, the search will focus on applicants with strengths in empirical finance, quantitative methods and financial econometrics.
