The Department of Economics at the University of Louisville seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant-professor position starting August 1, 2016. The applicant must have a Ph.D. by August 1, 2016. We are seeking an urban/regional economist. Candidates must demonstrate a strong research potential and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and potentially graduate-level courses. Teaching load and salary are competitive. Summer research support may be available. The department will have representatives at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco in 2016 for conducting job interviews. The deadline for accepting applications in order to be interviewed is December 1, 2015.
