An opportunity exists for a position in the Department of Economics at the full Professorial level. We are interested in candidates with an established research program in any area of economics who can contribute to leadership in research and teaching, including supervision of PhD and Masters Students.

The University of Otago is one of New Zealand’s leading research universities. We are a research intensive department where teaching loads allow significant time for research. The Department has an expanding PhD program. Funding is available for attendance at international conferences and various internal (University) and external competitive grants are available to support research.
