Tenure track opening at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2016. Ph.D. preferred or A.B.D. with Ph.D. completion within the first year acceptable. Ph.D. required for tenure. The position is a 4/4 teaching load split between teaching principles courses, Money and Financial Markets, Introductory Econometrics, and other upper level courses, preferably Development or Environmental. Although we are a teaching-oriented department, scholarly activity, professional growth, and university service are required.

Candidates should have a specialty in monetary economics, financial economics, or other relevant field. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated ability to teach and conduct scholarly research.
