The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applications for a lecturer position beginning September 2016. The initial appointment is for 3 years, with the possibility of continuing reappointment. The candidate will teach microeconomics classes including intermediate microeconomics, labor/public economics, at both the undergraduate and Master’s level and other applied microeconomics classes. Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
Required Qualifications:
PhD in economics. Teaching experience at the university level in a microeconomics-oriented area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with multiple years of teaching experience; those that have areas of concentration in applied microeconomics; those who have taught intermediate microeconomics, labor/public economics, economic of discrimination, and other micro-based courses; those with experience teaching courses at the Master’s level; and undergraduate advising.
