The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applicants for an assistant professor position in Economics beginning in Fall 2016. Candidates must have, or strongly be expected to have, a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2016. Desired fields are in applied microeconomics and applied econometrics areas such as urban, transportation, energy,environmental, or labor. Applicants must have a desire for research and teaching. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and degree held.
