Butler University seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Economics to begin in August, 2016. Candidates should have or be near completion of the Ph.D. They must provide evidence that they will be excellent teachers committed to working with a diverse population of students. Teaching flexibility within the field of Economics is necessary; particularly desirable are candidates with an interest in Public Economics, Natural Resource Economics, Labor Economics, or Economic Development. Candidates must also show that they will be productive researchers and display an interest in vigorous interaction with the business community. The standard teaching load for this position is nine credit hours per semester with additional release time available based on research productivity.

Fully accredited by AACSB-International, the College of Business enrolls 1,000 full-time undergraduates, nearly 200 part-time MBA students, and has a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program.
