Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty appointment in labor economics at the assistant professor level to begin in Fall 2016. We have a special interest in candidates proficient in applied econometrics whose research explores labor and labor-related topics. Candidates must have outstanding research potential and demonstrated teaching effectiveness. An appointee will be expected to engage in high-quality research publishable in top journals, be an effective classroom teacher at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. levels, and assist individual students in research projects, theses, and dissertations.

Applications should be submitted by November 30, 2015, to ensure full consideration for an interview at the January 2016 ASSA meetings. Applicants should send a current vita, copies of recent research papers, a statement of current research interest, material in support of teaching ability, and at least three reference letters. We will begin processing applications immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
