The Department of Economics at Stockholm University invites applications for junior faculty positions, equivalent to tenure track positions, beginning in September 2016. Teaching requirements amount to a maximum of two courses per academic year and the positions come with flexible research funds of approximately 10’000 USD per annum. The positions are general and open for any field of Economics. Candidates should have completed or be near completion of the PhD.

The department is an active research department with a full scale graduate program. The department is strong in applied research, particularly in the fields of labor economics, public economics, political economics, and international trade. For more information, see http://www.ne.su.se/.

Deadline for applications is November 29, 2015. Only applications via http://econjobmarket.org will be considered. The Faculty Search Committee will conduct interviews at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco, CA, on January 3-5, 2016. Other arrangements may be possible for short-listed candidates, who do not plan to attend the meetings. Final candidates will be invited for job-talks in January and February 2016.
