The Department of Economics at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics, to start in August 2016. The Economics Department is an undergraduate-oriented department within the AACSB accredited business school. The Department also offers courses for the MBA program. The candidate is expected to publish in quality refereed economics journals in order to maintain academic qualifications per AACSB standards. Ph.D. degree in Economics is required.

While candidates in all areas of economics will be considered, preference will be given to candidates who specialize in risk management, financial economics, econometrics, or quantitative methods and can teach courses related to these areas. Prior teaching experience is also preferred. Main teaching responsibilities include undergraduate economics and MBA-level courses.
