The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor in Economics beginning no later than August 16, 2016. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics (ABD considered). We prefer candidates who have demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research. Preference will be given to applicants specializing in macroeconomics.

The COB (http://uca.edu/business) occupies a recently constructed 70,000 square foot state-of-the-art building which houses four academic departments including the Economics, Finance, Insurance, and Risk Management Department (EFIRM). The College offers twelve undergraduate degree programs and two programs at the master's level (MAcc and MBA), with typical enrollment in the college averaging approximately 1,200 undergraduates and 75 graduate students. EFIRM has 15 full-time faculty members who support about 200 majors in five degree programs (3 Economics, Finance, and Insurance & Risk Management). UCA is an AA/EEO employer.
