The Department of Economics invites application for a tenure-track faculty position to start in August 2016 as an assistant professor subject to budgetary approval. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and normal service requirements. This position will join xs/fs, Florida State University's cluster in experimental social sciences. Information about the cluster can be found at http://www.xsfs.fsu.edu/. We are open to all types of work in experimental economics, including work in either laboratory or field experiments. The hiring process will stress the potential of candidates to produce internationally recognized research in experimental economics and to interact positively with existing and future members of xs/fs.

The Department may hire at either the new Ph.D. or the advanced Assistant Professor level (Ph.D. in hand with prior academic experience). All candidates should submit their application materials to the listing at econjobmarket.org beginning October 1, 2015. The deadline for submissions for new Ph.D. candidates is December 1, 2015. Advanced candidates may be selected for campus interviews beginning in October. New Ph.D. candidates will be scheduled for interviews by electronic conference (e.g. Skype or equivalent) during mid-December. The position will remain open until it is filled.
