The Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs (LBJ School) at The University of Texas at Austin offers a unique opportunity for professional development in teaching and research. We seek to fill one or two faculty positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Candidates should have active academic research programs related to one of the following areas: Hispanic politics, African-American politics, immigration policy, civil rights, voting rights, and education policy.

The LBJ School comprises more than 40 faculty members and approximately 300 graduate students, and offers multi-disciplinary curricula leading to the degrees of Master of Public Affairs, Master of Global Policy Studies, Executive Master of Public Leadership, and Ph.D. in Public Policy.

Qualifications
Applicants from any discipline will be considered. Qualifications must be commensurate with rank and include an outstanding academic record, significant achievement in original research, a commitment to quality teaching, and a doctoral degree or an equivalent terminal degree. Successful candidates should expect to teach graduate courses, develop a strong research program, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and their profession.
