The Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago seeks applicants for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor whose research focuses on behavioral science (or closely related fields including behavioral economics, cognitive science, and social psychology) and whose work is relevant to public policy. A wide range of interests will be considered, including research at the intersection of behavioral science and traditional economics fields (crime, labor/public finance, consumer finance) or at the intersection of behavioral science and fields such as poverty, education or child development. Applicants should have strong quantitative skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary academic setting. Teaching and advising responsibilities will involve both doctoral students and master's students in the Harris School of Public Policy. Applicants should be prepared to teach graduate courses in strategy, negotiations, judgment and decision-making, and related topics in behavioral science.

The position will begin in the 2015-2016 academic year with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2016. The doctoral degree must be completed by date of hire.
