Teach six (6) classes per year generally including at least four undergraduate classes in comprehensive B.A. and B.S. degrees, and up to two introductory economics courses in graduate business programs. All sub-disciplines are encouraged to apply. Courses include principles and theory courses as well as courses within concentrations in Sustainability and International Studies.

Candidates should have strong background and interest in teaching empirical methods to students completing projects for capstone courses and to serve as advisor to these students. Teaching assignments include courses on main campus in Moraga and may include teaching at off-site locations in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and San Ramon.

Additional responsibilities include student advising, college and department committee service, and occasional teaching in college-wide Collegiate Seminar Program as well as the one month January Term.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics and be committed to excellence in teaching while being actively engaged in scholarly pursuits.
