The Economics department at the College of Wooster invites applications for Assistant Professor of Business Economics, a full-time, tenure-track position beginning Fall 2016. Applications will also be considered at the Associate Professor level. Wooster is the nation's premier college for mentored undergraduate research and offers a rigorous program in Business Economics as part of the Economics Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Financial Markets and Investments. Contribution to the department's core curriculum and participation in the College's First-Year Seminar program are expected. Background and interest in teaching related business-oriented courses such as business strategy, marketing, Industrial Organization, or Law & Economics is a plus. The ability to supervise undergraduate research in a high quality business economics program within the context of the liberal arts is also required. Preference will be given to candidates completing a Ph. D. in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration and who have a commitment to teaching excellence. Wooster is an EEO/AA employer.
