Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics seeks applications to fill two tenure-track positions at its campus in Mexico City starting August 2016. One position is for a specialist in macroeconomics, for the other we are looking for somebody that will conduct empirical research in one or more of the following applied microeconomics areas: behavioral, development, education, health, industrial organization, labor, and public finance. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in economics from an accredited institution by August 2016. Candidates are expected to provide evidence of potential to develop an outstanding record of scholarly research in their field.
The Department offers undergraduate and MSc programs in economics. Candidates are expected to provide quality teaching at these levels. Expected teaching load is two courses per year.
