The Department of Economics at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time permanent position at the rank of Professor of Practice to begin Fall 2016. A Professor of Practice will teach three undergraduate courses per semester at the introductory and/or intermediate levels. Candidates should have an advanced degree in economics and a record of excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching skills, especially in macroeconomics; preference will also be given to applicants with research interests in areas where the Department has existing strengths: development, inequality, and poverty; the economics of education; health and labor economics; and public economics.
