New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Graduate Public Service invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in applied microeconomics to begin in fall 2016. Applicants must have at least two years of post-doctoral research experience, a demonstrated record of research excellence, and a Ph.D. in a relevant field.

We seek applicants who are engaged in policy-relevant research. We are open to any field and to a domestic or international focus, but are especially interested in labor, public, and urban economics.

The search at Wagner is occurring in conjunction with applied micro searches in the Department of Economics at the Stern Graduate School of Business and in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. The goal is to hire a group of energetic and motivated researchers who, along with existing faculty, will forge a dynamic applied microeconomics research group at NYU.

Screening of applications will begin immediately, and will continue until November 15, 2015.
