Ave Maria University seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position in Finance, Economics or Business beginning in Spring 2016. Applicants should preferably hold a Ph.D. and be able to teach courses in principles and intermediate economics, finance and statistics, and/or banking and investments. Other teaching fields in business will also be considered. Professional experience in the field of finance is highly valued, as well as an interest in developing internship opportunities for students. Rank and salary are dependent on experience and credentials.

The AMU business program is new, small, and fast-growing. We understand business as a profession, not only as a theoretical field, for which a robust and dynamic internship and job-placement program is crucial. Our aim is to prepare students with specific tools and concepts needed in the world of business and to strengthen their analytical skills. We teach business in the context of a robust core curriculum that instills strong intellectual habits and offers a sound view of reality that helps students make good decisions.
