Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics at Harvard University is seeking a Lecturer/Adviser to work with and teach undergraduates in the economics program. Duties will consist mainly of advising economics undergraduates on curricular planning and career paths, along with teaching two undergraduate courses per academic year. Related duties will include holding information sessions for prospective economics students, staffing office hours, informing undergraduates about research opportunities, and approving course choices.

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field and have evidence of successful teaching experience. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary, plus a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education and an ability to work with diverse constituencies.
