Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Economics. The teaching load is 5 courses and senior thesis advising. We seek candidates with fields in development or international economics and with exceptional skills in applied econometrics. Participation in the College’s Core Curriculum in Interdisciplinary Humanities program is expected.

Ph.D., teaching experience, and evidence of research potential are required.

The deadline for applications is November 20, 2015; interviews will be conducted at the American Economic Association annual meeting in January 2016. Applications should include a cover letter, c.v., three letters of reference, recent teaching evaluations, and a research sample.
