The University of Oregon Department of Economics invites applications for one or more tenure-track assistant professor positions to begin Fall 2016. We are primarily interested in candidates whose research interests lie in the field of international economics, however, exceptional candidates from all fields of economics will be considered. Qualified candidates must demonstrate potential for outstanding research and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and pursue research that enhances existing areas of strength in the department. A Ph.D. in economics must also be complete by September 15, 2016. The successful candidate will support and enhance a diverse learning and working environment.

Candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, copy of graduate transcripts, a written research sample, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. They should also arrange to have three letters of recommendation submitted.
