The Department of Economics at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for the Chong Liew Chair, at the Senior Assistant or Associate Professor level. The ideal applicant will have strong econometric skills, a substantial research record, and a history of high quality teaching. Candidates with large-scale dataset experience are especially encouraged to apply. The Chairholder will be expected to contribute to the department's expanding graduate program. The equilibrium teaching load is two courses per semester and the successful applicant must have a completed Ph.D. at the time of appointment.

Initial screening will begin no later than December 1, 2015 and will continue until the position is filled. Applicants should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, research sample, teaching evaluations and three letters of reference to "Liew Chair Search", Econ.Recruiting@ou.edu.

If the position is not already filled, we will be attending the AEA meetings and interviewing promising candidates in January 2016. The appointment will begin August 16, 2016.
