Mercer University's Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics (SSBE), an AACSB International accredited institution (http://business.mercer.edu), is seeking applicants for a tenure track position in Economics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, on our Macon campus to begin July 1, 2016.

Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in Economics from an AACSB accredited college/university. ABD candidates may also be considered. We expect candidates to have (a) demonstrated excellence in instruction (commensurate with experience), (b) the ability to produce publishable research of sufficient quality, and (c) a desire to be involved in student research, advising and mentoring.

Strong preference will be given to candidates willing and able to teach econometrics. Special consideration may be given to candidates who also have teaching and research interests in the areas of political economy, institutional economics and/or public choice. Experience and/or willingness to engage in research projects with undergraduate students are a significant plus.
