We welcome applicants whose research is relevant to understanding the political and other forces that influence the design, management, performance and reform of public agencies and bureaucracies. Areas of potential interest include 1) political economy, 2) the design and performance of domestic agencies or international organizations, 3) comparative public administration, and 4) public finance and budgeting. Applicants’ research should have important public policy implications.

A letter of interest, CV, three reference letters and a research paper should be submitted at https://recruit.apo.ucla.edu/apply/JPF01497. Please include examples of public policy courses that you could teach in the cover letter. You may also submit an optional diversity statement with examples of your contribution to diversity-related research, teaching, and/or service. Applications are due October 1 but will be reviewed as received until this position is filled.
