Accounting, Business, Economics and Finance - Tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Economics beginning in the Fall of 2016. PhD in Economics required by time of appointment. The Department seeks a teacher/scholar with a commitment to students in and out of the classroom. Teaching load of three courses per semester includes principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, and upper-level applied micro courses in the candidate’s field(s) of interest. Candidates who have an interest in teaching finance courses in the Department’s finance major are highly desirable and will be given special consideration. Professional activity, including active scholarship and participation in College governance are required of all full-time faculty members. The successful candidate must combine teaching excellence with a strong commitment to Muhlenberg's General Education Curriculum, including diversity and global engagement, along with an intellectually compelling research agenda.
