The Department of Economics in the Sam M Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor in the field of international trade beginning in Fall 2016. The department is seeking someone whose research focus is at the intersection of international trade and either development economics or industrial organization in order to strengthen the department's strategic initiatives in these areas. We are particularly interested in candidates with a research agenda that fits with the Walton College's strategic focus on emerging markets and global supply chains. Candidates should demonstrate promise to produce high quality academic research in leading journals and secure external research funding.

A Ph.D. in economics is required. Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and one research paper by December 1, 2015.
