Full Text of JOE Listing:

Queen’s School of Business invites applications for a tenure stream appointment in the area of Business Economics. While the primary focus of this search is for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, in the case of truly exceptional candidates an appointment may be considered at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The preferred starting date is July 1, 2016.

The successful candidate will have a PhD completed at the start date of the appointment. This is an “open field” position within the area of Business Economics, although the School preferably seeks empirical micro-economists whose research uses rigorous analysis to yield managerially relevant insights. The successful candidate will provide evidence of high quality scholarly output that demonstrates potential for independent research leading to peer assessed publications and the securing of external research funding, as well as strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and an ongoing commitment to academic and pedagogical excellence in support of the School’s public and private programs. The successful candidate will also be expected to make substantive contributions through service to the School, the University, and/or to the broader community. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. All positions are subject to final budgetary approval by the University.

For more information about the School and its programs see www.business.queensu.ca.
