Brown University seeks to fill one tenured position as the William R. Rhodes Professor in International Economics beginning July 1, 2016. Candidates in any field will be considered. Priority will be given to candidates with research and teaching interest in the areas of international trade, international finance, or international comparisons of economic policies and performance. The successful applicant to this position is expected to play an active role in the endowed Rhodes Center of International Economics, which has the primary purpose of promoting path-breaking scholarly research in international economics on policy-oriented themes. The appointment will be at the tenured Full Professor level in the Department of Economics. Candidates should be internationally recognized for their scholarly achievements and also demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
