The University of Georgia’s School of Public & International Affairs, Department of Public Administration and Policy invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in public policy. Exceptional candidates may be appointed at the associate professor level. Appointment begins in August 2016. Candidates should demonstrate a substantive policy specialization. A Ph.D. in public policy, economics, sociology, political science, public administration, or other appropriate discipline is required. Teaching is predominately at the graduate level and includes courses in policy analysis, policy process, or program evaluation, and other substantive policy courses. Successful candidates will contribute to our MPA and Ph.D. programs and demonstrate evidence of research productivity. Candidates with a clear potential and prospects for securing external research funding are especially encouraged to apply. Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.
