The Department of Economics at KU Leuven (Belgium) invites applications for a full-time academic position in the field of Economics starting October 1, 2016. The successful candidate will be hired in the rank of assistant, associate or full professor according to his/her qualifications. Interested candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or in a related field. Expertise in the fields of environmental, energy, or transport economics or in international finance is an asset, but other fields are not excluded.

The position requires a completed Ph.D. (or expected in 2016), evidence of high-quality research, and good teaching potential. Junior applicants (pre-tenure) can demonstrate research excellence with promising ongoing research projects or papers and academic references.
