An opportunity exists for a position in the Department of Economics at the Associate Professor level. We are interested in candidates with an established research program in health-related microeconomics who can contribute to teaching and developing the curriculum in health economics. The level of appointment within the rank will depend on the qualifications of the successful applicant.

The University of Otago is one of New Zealand's leading research universities. We are a research intensive Department where teaching loads allow significant time for research. The Department has an expanding PhD program. A departmental travel fund finances attendance at international conferences and various internal (University) and external competitive grants are available to support research.
