The Rochester Institute of Technology’s Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Mid-August, 2016. We are looking for a teacher-scholar with research interests in development economics. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our growing relationships with other disciplines at RIT such as Political Science, Psychology, and Public Policy. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in the candidate’s field of specialization
and principles of micro and/or macroeconomics as well as other courses as needed by the department.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Ph.D. in Economics prior to the date of hire. Possession of research interests in development economics. Teaching experience as a teaching assistant or instructor of a course. Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the college’s continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences.
