The University of St. Gallen, a leading university in Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences and International Relations aims to appoint a

Professor (open rank) of Disability Economics

by February 1, 2016 (or another date by mutual agreement).

The successful candidate will have a doctorate degree in economics or a neighboring discipline with specialization in empirical health economics and the integration of disabled persons into the workforce and society at large. He or she will bring a strong publications record and the ability to combine rigorous academic research to economic practice and questions of public policy.

Depending on the individual’s qualifications, the successful candidate can be appointed as a full or tenure track professor. The professorship is located within the Center for Disability and Integration (CDI-HSG), which was established in 2009.
