The University invites applications for the position of Professor/Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and Insurance:
The Department of Finance and Insurance offers a major in finance and a major in risk and insurance management. The appointee is expected to teach, engage in research, provide leadership, and develop industry relationships in the area of insurance. Teaching experience in insurance is required (e.g., property and liability insurance, health and life insurance, reinsurance, and legal and accounting aspects of insurance).
Candidates should have a PhD degree in risk and insurance management. Ideally, the appointee will also have working experience in the insurance industry, have professional qualifications in insurance (e.g., ACII, CPCU, ANZIIF, LOMA), and be active in the profession.
Candidates are required to provide information on their work experience, qualifications, research records and evidence of quality teaching. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
